Does Health Insurance Cover Hypnosis?
No, it generally does not. We suggest that you think of your hypnosis sessions as an investment in yourself.
However, an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) can often be used to pay for hypnosis sessions.
Is Hypnosis Sleep?
No, hypnosis isn’t sleep. It just resembles sleep sometimes because I will ask you to close your eyes and become relaxed and absorbed so that you can experience the changes you want to make. In fact, if you get TOO relaxed and fall asleep you will miss everything!
Is Hypnosis Mind Control?
No one can be hypnotized unless they choose to be. Hypnosis is an intentional state that you allow to occur. In fact, all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis, because you permit yourself to be guided into a relaxed, focused state to make the positive changes that you desire to make.
Can a Hypnotist Make Me Cluck Like a Chicken?
Only if you want to. You may have seen stage or comedy hypnosis in which audience members volunteer to be part of a hypnosis demonstration. They know they will probably be asked to do silly things and enjoy letting down and having some fun. So they are freely choosing to have the experience.
