Is Hypnosis Safe?
Hypnosis is a safe and natural state of increased focus that you have already experienced many times – such as when watching a movie, daydreaming, reading a good book, or doing any activity you enjoy.
Because of this increased focus, hypnosis is also a prime learning state that you can use to make rapid positive changes in your life, changes that are almost impossible to make with willpower alone.
What Kind of Changes Can I Make With Hypnosis?
Hypnosis works with your mind’s natural processes, directing them to help you make the changes you’ve always wanted to make, but just didn’t know how to do on your own.
Hypnosis can help you when everything else has failed.
Can Anyone Be Hypnotised? What Does It Feel Like?
Anyone of at least normal intelligence can be hypnotized. It is a normal state that most people go into several times a day, such as when daydreaming or driving or engaging in stimulating conversation.
Hypnosis feels quite natural, but you may feel more relaxed or focused than usual. You will interact with your hypnotist and remember everything that occurs, just like you would any other conversation.
How Do Hypnosis Sessions Work?
We use a 5-phase systematic approach known as 5-PATH® to give our clients safe, life-changing results, usually in 5 sessions. (This is fast compared to traditional counseling or therapy.)
During your online sessions, I will guide you into a focused, hypnotic state that allows you to have positive insights that help resolve your issue as you move through the process.
Prepare to spend about 90 minutes in each of your sessions with me.
Many people experience positive changes from the very first session, and most feel their issue has been resolved within 5 sessions.
Most clients experience more positive thoughts and feelings than ever before and feel greater self-control, self-confidence, and peace of mind in daily life upon completing their sessions.*
You can read some of our testimonials here for examples of the positive results most people achieve with our hypnosis system.
How Much Do Hypnosis Sessions Cost?
We offer a special multi-session hypnosis package to our clients. Our current special is $995 for a 5-session package. Each session is approximately 90 minutes in length. We also offer special financing through PayPal, which gives you up to 6 months to pay interest-free for this investment in yourself. We can discuss your options during your free consultation.
Does Health Insurance Cover Hypnosis?
No, it generally does not. We suggest that you think of your hypnosis sessions as an investment in yourself.
HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) can often be used to pay for hypnosis sessions.
Is Hypnosis Sleep?
No, hypnosis isn’t sleep. It just resembles sleep sometimes because I will ask you to close your eyes and become relaxed and absorbed so that you can experience the changes you want to make. In fact, if you get TOO relaxed and fall asleep you will miss everything!
Is Hypnosis Mind Control?
No one can be hypnotized unless they choose to be. Hypnosis is an intentional state that you allow to occur. In fact, all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis, because you permit yourself to be guided into a relaxed, focused state to make the positive changes that you desire to make.
Can a Hypnotist Make Me Cluck Like a Chicken?
Only if you want to. You may have seen stage or comedy hypnosis in which audience members volunteer to be part of a hypnosis demonstration. They know they will probably be asked to do silly things and enjoy letting down and having some fun. So they are freely choosing to have the experience.
Nothing Else Has Worked. Why Should I Try Hypnosis?
Because hypnosis involves a different state of mind. Not the normal state in which you struggle and strive, but a state in which your subconscious resources are at your disposal to help you make important changes from the inside out.
Can Hypnosis Help Me Feel Happier?
Actually, it can.
Unhappiness often stems from hopelessness and a lack of self-belief. This lack of self-belief can come from negative messages we received when we were very young. They color how we see ourselves and our world, making us unhappy.
With hypnosis, we can find the root of these negative beliefs and we can use the power of the mind to replace them with positive, more accurate beliefs. This can give you a happier outlook on life.
What Other Problems Can It Help?
Hypnosis can help with a whole range of issues beyond weight control and smoking cessation.
Everything from excessive stress and anxiety, grief, sleep problems, and procrastination to sports improvement, public speaking, and professional goals.
It is a tool that can be used to improve just about any area of your life.
Feel free to ask about any issue during your free phone consultation. You can also view our list of services, or contact me at any time by phone or email to inquire about any issue or concern. Even if you don’t see it on the list, we likely work with it.
How are Sessions Conducted?
Each 90-minute session is conducted by phone or online via Zoom, which is quite easy to use. In fact, online hypnosis has proven to be very effective, as looking into a computer or tablet screen is quite hypnotic for most people. Also, it offers the advantages of receiving one-on-one sessions within the privacy and comfort of your own home or office in virtually any part of the world.
How Effective is Hypnosis Compared to Other Types of Therapy or Counseling?
Because hypnosis goes to the root of the problem quickly, long-lasting changes can occur in just a handful of sessions (usually 5 sessions).
Traditional therapy sometimes requires months or years of treatment before the client feels significant change or relief.
